What: Glow Festival 2015

Olivia D’Aboville, a multi-awarded French-Filipina designer, has been selected as one of the featured artists at the GLOW Festival 2015, which will be held on 7 – 14 November 2015 in Eindhoven, Netherlands. Ms. D’Aboville is also the first Filipino to have her works selected by the organizing committee and the only Asian in this year’s edition.
The GLOW Festival is an annual light festival that highlights innovation, design and artistry in lighting. The city of Eindhoven transforms to a giant exhibition of lights and around 650,000 people visit the city for the week-long GLOW Festival. This year’s festival is celebrating its 10th anniversary with the theme “Light and Art in Architecture”.
Ms. D’Aboville’s artworks, comprising of 90 dandelions each about 2 meters in height, will be placed at the Jacob Catslaan, Eindhoven. The dandelions are made from around 9,000 recycled water bottles.
